These Submission Guidelines referred to in Paragraph 5.1 of the Developer Distribution
Agreement available at [Link] (“DD Agreement”) brings together the processes you should follow to ensure your App is launched successfully
on the Appstore.
All capitalised terms shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the DD Agreement.
These Submission Guidelines shall be read along with the DD Agreement.
- PURPOSE: These Submission Guidelines are designed to ensure
that the Appstore remains a trusted resource for users as detailed in the DD Agreement.
- AGREEMENT: You are required to read the entire DD Agreement
carefully and agree to all the provisions before submitting an App on the Appstore.
- DEVELOPER ACCOUNT: Sign Up on Instamojo and complete the
full KYC process to set up and gain access to create a Developer Account to upload your App on the
Appstore.
- MANDATORY INFORMATION: You are required to accurately
provide all the mandatory information fields in the submission form to be able to successfully submit an
App.
- SECURITY: You are required to ensure that the App
complies with all applicable security requirements including but not limited to those detailed in Paragraph 15
of the DD Agreement.
- RESTRICTED CONTENT: You confirm that you shall not upload
restricted content (detailed in Paragraph 9 of the DD Agreement) on the Appstore.
- DESCRIPTIVE IMAGES AND VIDEO: You are required to upload 5
(Five) high-quality images and a descriptive video (less than 5 (Five) minutes in length) that explains the
overall functionality of the App and how the App will be beneficial to all the merchants on Instamojo.
- DATA PERMISSIONS: You shall only request for data and seek
consent to use and share such data provided it is permissible under the applicable laws and is absolutely
necessary for the App to function. You may note that too many data permissions may lead to merchant
drop-offs.
- TESTING AND USER EXPERIENCE: You should strive to test all
the use cases of your App to ensure that the user experience of all merchants is satisfactory.
- IN-APP PURCHASES: You shall only use Instamojo as the
payment provider in case there are any In-App Purchases that may be made by the merchant on your App.
- PAYMENT PROCESSING CHARGES: The charges for processing
In-App Purchases will be decided on a case to case basis by Instamojo subject to the App use case.
